What They Said
★★★★★ Purchased bespoke stairs from Fifty Seven Joinery. Exactly how I envisaged and 15 yrs later it is still commented on by all. The next project - a built in bookcase which was followed by a beautiful 5ft oak desk. Design and quality are faultless throughout. Gifted Tradesmen. ★★★★☆ What can I say I would like to give five stars but I cannot. I bought a stairs from Dick got it delivered fair price for the stairs. They are nice people to deal with in general but to get the finishing bits is hard work. I was told anything else required to finish the stairs let them know and it would be delivered up as the guys pass daily past my house to deliver stairs to a project they are doing.Sent a mail saying we are missing newel post caps as they were not delivered with the stairs on the 16th of May and was informed that they would arrive the following week. My builder than rang on the 8th of June and asked for the required bits and newel caps to finish the stairs and he was informed they would be delivered the week of the 10th nothing came rang again on the 15th same thing to be delivered the week of the 17th June. No parts so I finished work early on the 21st of June and drove 100kms from work to get these bits.Got to the workshop and one lad was working there and informed me he knows nothing about it and that he would ring Dick which he did, came back and told me the bits would be made up either Saturday or Monday and delivered latest Tuesday 25th of June. The lad there who was very nice by the way found two square newel post caps and gave them to me on the day and said the rest will be out by next Tuesday. Came home on the Tuesday and no bits were there I emailed the company asking why and received a mail stating"Apologies for delay in getting your parts.Dick is making them for you tomorrow. They’re a bit long to collect in the car, 14 ‘ long??The lads are not sure when they are going your way, possibly next week, depends on when the guys need 2nd fixes for stairsAny ideas?"I do not have any ideas as they were meant to be delivered weeks back and it was only a possibility that they would come next week. My builder finished yesterday the 26th of June and I could not expect him to come back maybe next week because Clonmore Joinery can’t bring the stuff up when they said they would. I had to go and buy the bits myself afterwards to allow the builder to finish on time. Very disappointed that it has to come to me leaving this review as I wanted to give five stars but this has reduced it down to the two. ★★★★★ I had a custom staircase designed and built by Fifty Seven Joinery, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The joiners were exceptionally talented, showcasing incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. I highly recommend Fifty Seven Joinery for their outstanding work and professional service. ★★★★★ I have worked with Clonmore Joinery for a number of years now and have relied heavily on their service and the woodwork they have produced to support my building work.Thank you! ★★★★★ Fantastic workmanship we highly recommend this company ★★★★★ We're delighted with our new stairs. Having supported us in designing a stairs to our liking, and managing the complexity of the space we had, we can't thank you enough! It has really added to our house making it a home we can be proud of. Thank you Clonmore Joinery!js_loader
